Penrose is a small rural community about 12 miles east of Cañon City in Fremont County — locally known as the Model Rocket Capital of the World, home to Estes Industries, the global leader in model rocketry. It's a working-class agricultural and manufacturing community where custom workwear, school apparel, and small-event gear are practical, valued needs. ARK offers DTF printing with no minimum for small-batch community orders, alongside full screen printing runs for larger groups.
Penrose is served by the Fremont RE-2 School District alongside Florence, with Penrose Elementary feeding into Florence Junior/Senior High School. The Estes Industries connection gives Penrose a unique identity within the region's small rural communities. Community events, agricultural fairs, and the local businesses that employ Penrose residents all generate occasional custom apparel needs. We ship from Colorado Springs, about 55 miles northeast, with reliable turnaround.
Custom apparel for Penrose's manufacturing workforce, agricultural businesses, and community events.
Screen printing and DTF for working families, ranchers, and small organizations in the Penrose area.
DTF printing from one piece — affordable for small-community orders.
Screen printing needs a screen made for each ink colour, so it starts at 24 shirts — that's where it pays off. Under 24, we print with DTF: no screens, no setup, full colour, even for a single shirt. Tell us your quantity and we'll recommend the right method — you don't need to know which one you want.
From your quote to your door in Penrose — and you see the proof first.
Pick the garment, the quantity and where it's printed — the form shows your price as you go. About two minutes, or call or text and talk it through.
We're in touch within ten minutes (7:30am–7pm Mountain Time, every day) with a free mockup of your design on the garment — no obligation. Rough artwork? We'll clean it up free.
Tweak the mockup until it's right. Nothing is printed until you approve it and pay the invoice.
Approve the proof and pay the invoice, and we start your order the same day — garments ordered, films printed, screens burned. Most screen-print orders are ready in 5–10 business days. Local pickup available, or we ship anywhere in the US.

I had gone online to request a quote for a couple shirts and left it as that, Alex called me to follow up on the quote and to me the call itself showed such great customer service and we talked about what I wanted, I decided to move forward with the purchase of my shirts and so glad I did! I highly recommend for anyone looking for custom shirts :)
