Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ARK Screen Printing's website and ordering system. By placing an order, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.

We sell two different things, and they have different terms. Shop designs are our own artwork, already printed and held in stock — they behave like ordinary retail goods. Custom work is decorated to your specification after you order. Where a term applies to only one, it says so.

Shop designs (ready to ship)

Shop designs are ARK's own artwork on a blank garment, printed before you ordered and held in stock. You are buying a finished item, not commissioning one.

Because nothing is made to your specification, these can be cancelled before dispatch and returned or exchanged afterwards on ordinary retail terms — including a free size exchange. See the shipping & returns policy for the full detail.

The artwork on a shop design belongs to ARK. Buying the shirt does not transfer any right to reproduce the design.

Custom orders

Custom items are decorated to your specifications — garment, colour, artwork and print locations. Because production starts on your particular design, custom orders cannot be cancelled or modified once production has started. See the shipping & returns policy for what happens either side of that point.

Product images and mockups

Shop design images are digital mockups, not photographs of the specific garment you receive: the artwork is composited onto a photograph of that blank in that colourway. It is an accurate representation of the design, the placement and the garment colour, but screens vary and dyed cotton varies between lots, so exact colour is not guaranteed.

For custom work, the on-screen mockup you build in our design tool is a visual reference, not a pixel-exact template. Our production team fine-tunes print placement to industry standards for each location — a left-chest print sits where a left-chest print should, a front-and-centre print is optically centred — and we match colours as closely as we can to your approved design.

Garment decoration is more art than science: fabric stretches, seams shift, and every garment loads onto the press slightly differently. Up to ¼"–½" of natural variation in print placement between individual garments is normal and within tolerance, not a defect.

Artwork and ownership

Custom work: you are responsible for the artwork you upload or create in our design tool, including holding the rights to use it. You keep ownership of your own artwork — placing an order grants us only the right to reproduce it on your garments and keep a copy on file for production, warranty and reorder purposes. We will not use your artwork for our own marketing or portfolio without asking you first.

Shop designs: the artwork is ours. It may not be reproduced, resold, or used to make derivative goods.

Pricing and payment

Custom pricing reflects the garment, decoration method, colour count and quantity you selected. Shop designs are sold at a fixed price shown on the product page.

Shipping is a flat rate within the United States, and free above the order threshold stated at checkout and on the shipping & returns policy. The price you are shown before payment is the price charged.

Payment is collected securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card details. For custom work, production begins automatically once payment is confirmed.

Production and delivery estimates

Shop designs are in stock and dispatch in 24–48 hours. Custom work is made to order and takes about two weeks. If you order both together they arrive in two shipments.

Delivery estimates are our best estimate from typical production and shipping times — they are not guarantees. We will contact you if anything changes materially. See the shipping & returns policy for detail.

Limitation of liability

ARK Screen Printing's liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the update — the date at the top of this page changes whenever that happens.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
